If you use a laptop or computer in your home or office, then there is a chance that you have saved some sensitive information in your system.
If someone gets the opportunity to steal your information he /she can misuse it. So you always lock your system or laptop with a strong password.
You must change your password After some time interval so your data will be protected.
In this blog, I will explain the procedure to change the password of your system.
The steps are applicable to Windows 10 (pictured), Windows 8.1, and Windows 7.
- Login to your computer. once the desktop is visible press and hold the CTRL + ALT + Delete keys on your keyboard.
A screen will appear very much similar to this
- Now Select ‘Change a password’.
- A new screen will appear. If you know your previous password enter it and create a strong new password.
Always use a password with a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters, and should be between 8 to 16 characters long.
4.if your password change is successful then you get a screen very similar to this.
5.If you use your Windows account on some other devices or apps then you also need to confirm your login details in that device.
